SBU will hand over case into Yanukovych's, affiliates ' crimes to ICC
Every criminal investigation conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) into the abuse of power by former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his inner circle will be combined into one case and handed over to the International Criminal Court (ICC).
"We have launched investigative activities. We hope that with the support of the Prosecutor General's Office, civil society, public activists, and specialists in international law, all these criminal cases in the course of time will be put together and considered by the International [Criminal] Court," SBU chief investigator Vasyl Vovk has said.
He said that in addition to Yanukovych, the investigations also concern former senior officials, parliamentarians, judges, security officers, and others former officials and associates close to Yanukovych.
