Ex-heads of two state companies file claims accusing state financial inspectorate officials of bribery
Former Director General of Ukrzaliznytsia state enterprise Borys Ostapiuk on Wednesday filed a claim with the Interior Ministry of Ukraine accusing officials of the State Financial Inspectorate of bribery.
Previously, former commercial director of Ukrposhta state enterprise Vasyl Vesely filed a similar claim with the ministry.
The press service of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine said that Ostapiuk has alleged that officials of the State Financial Inspectorate demanded $500,000 for a positive result of an inspection
Vesely said that the officials demanded $100,000 for the same reason
Investigators of the Chief Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry have included the information in the state register of pretrial investigations.
