Ukraine hopes more Polish specialists join OSCE SMM – Poroshenko
Ukrainian authorities wish more Polish monitors to become members of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM), Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said.
"Ukraine pins its hopes on a number of Polish representatives in the OSCE SMM, which now plays an extremely important role in de-escalation of the conflict in Donbas, to get higher," the president said at a briefing after the meeting with Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski on Wednesday.
In a course of the talks the parties agreed to coordinate their actions over possible deployment of the UN and EU peace mission in Ukraine, Poroshenko said.
