OSCE mission unable to confirm full arms pullback in Donbas
The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (OSCE SMM) has been unable to confirm the complete pullout of heavy armaments from the Donbas contact line.
Mission spokesman Michael Bociurkiw told Radio Vesti on Tuesday that the observers had seen ongoing relocation of heavy weapons but could not confirm their complete pullback.
The mission is requesting the conflicting sides to provide baseline information as to what armament systems they possess, what the withdrawal routes are, and where the weapons will be stored, he said.
Bociurkiw called for giving monitors full access to the territory so that they could continue their observations.
