Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has gone on leave for family reasons until April 11.
"Having agreed it with the president of Ukraine, I am going on unpaid leave for family reasons for 9 days from April 3 until April 11, 2015," reads Klitschko's statement which was posted on the website of Kyiv City State Administration.
In Klitschko's absence, his first deputy Ihor Nikonov will be acting head of Kyiv City State Administration.
