Benefits to be paid to Ukrainian war veterans, victims of Nazi reprisals

War veterans and other Ukrainian citizens will get one-time benefits in 2015 in compliance with the laws on the status of war veterans, on the war veterans' social guarantees and on victims of Nazi reprisals.

The Social Policy Ministry has been given until May 5 to transfer the financial aid to veteran organizations, to disabled war veterans, and to former underage inmates of Nazi concentration camps, ghettos and other places of forced confinement, says a Cabinet resolution signed on March 31.

The benefits will range from UAH 160 to UAH 2,835.
