Cabinet proposes parliament sets bail for corrupt officials at 10-fold sum of loss
The Ukrainian government will propose that the parliament considers the increase of bail for persons suspected of corruption to the 10-fold sum of the loss caused to the state and bail should be revoked for some types of crimes.
"The government will propose that the parliament discuss the increase of bail to the 10-fold sum of losses caused to the state and there will not be any bail for certain types of crimes," Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said at an offsite cabinet meeting in the National Academy of Internal Affairs in Kyiv on Saturday.
