French citizen wanted by Interpol detained at Boryspil airport – Border Guards
A French citizen wanted by Interpol has been detained at Boryspil airport, the press service of the State Border Guard Service reported on Friday.
"The information that this citizen might try to cross Ukrainian border was received by border guards of 'Kyiv' separate checkpoint from the Interpol country office beforehand," reads a statement issued by the service.
According to the statement, a 56-year old French citizen was put on the international wanted list for a number of crimes he is alleged to have committed in France. He's been transferred to the custody of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine.
