Yatseniuk to meet Rada faction leaders to discuss adoption of five bills
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk had said he hopes that next week the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will adopt five bills needed to receive the Second Development Policy Loan (DPL-2) worth $800 million from the World Bank.
"The parliament's support is needed so that next week five laws could be endorsed and the World Bank project will work. We have already done everything for DPL to work," Yatseniuk said.
He said that he would meet with the leaders of the Rada's factions on Friday, April 3 to discuss the issue.
"On Friday, I'll also meet with the Ukrainian President, who invited me to a meeting. This issue on supporting the laws will be raised for the main factions in front of the President," Yatseniuk said.
Yatseniuk said that this meeting would cover the natural gas market law, improving invertors' rights law, and other issues.
