Militants violate ceasefire agreement 13 times – ATO press center
Militants put Ukrainian army positions under random fire on Tuesday, but Ukrainian soldiers held their position along the contact line.
"Thirteen violations of the ceasefire were committed from 1800 till midnight on March 31 by Russian terrorist groups," the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center reported on Facebook on Wednesday morning.
Most intensive activity was reported in the Artemivsk area where the militants shelled the towns of Leninske, Mayorsk and Troitske.
A 120mm mortar of the militants shelled an army position near Avdiyivka.
At the same time, Ukrainian army was honoring the Minsk agreements and only returned fire.
