PM, President are one in fighting corruption - Yatseniuk
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said he has absolute mutual understanding with President Petro Poroshenko on ways to fight corruption.
"The recent developments provide proof that we are one team. When you start fighting the mafia, the mafia starts seeking support in parliament and media. They are beginning a battle against me and the government. It is important not to stop, not to yield to pressure and to move on. We are on the right track, I am convinced. It is important for the president and prime minister to work together as we are working now," he said in an interview released by ICTV television on Sunday evening.
Yatseniuk also said that the president and prime minister are well aware of their responsibility. "This is the last chance for Ukraine. We will use it," he said.
