European Commission says decision on visa-free-regime for Ukraine will be based on expert mission findings
The European Commission will appeal to EU member states asking them to grant a visa-free regime to Ukraine based on the findings of experts who are currently working in Ukraine.
When asked about whether a decision on the visa-free regime would be made at the upcoming European summit in Riga, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski said it would depend on the findings of the experts.
The European Commission will make an appeal to European countries based on these findings, he said.
He added that the expert mission may publish its findings on Friday.
