German parliament ratifies Ukraine-EU Association Agreement
The Bundestag, the German federal parliament, has ratified the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement, Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk has reported.
"The Bundestag ratified the Association Agreement. Danke, Deutschland!" Melnyk wrote on Twitter.
A Ukrainian parliamentary delegation led by Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Hroisman attended the ratification ceremony.
As reported, Ukraine and the EU signed the Association Agreement in Brussels on June 27, 2014. The Verkhovna Rada and the European Parliament ratified it simultaneously on September 16, 2014.
