Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is expected to visit the country's Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk region on Thursday.
"On Thursday, March 26, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will pay a working visit to the Dnipropetrovsk region," the presidential website reported.
The presidential press service earlier announced Poroshenko's trip to the Kharkiv region.
For its part, the press service of the Dnipropetrovsk region administration told Interfax that Poroshenko would introduce the region's new governor Valentyn Reznichenko in Dnipropetrovsk.
The region's former governor Ihor Kolomoisky will attend meetings in Dnipropetrovsk as well.
Afterwards, Poroshenko, Reznichenko and Kolomoisky are expected to give a press briefing.
Earlier this week, Poroshenko accepted Kolomoisky's resignation from the post of Dnipropetrovsk region governor and appointed Zaporizhia region governor Reznichenko as acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
