Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has accepted the resignation tendered by head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Ihor Kolomoisky, the presidential press service reported.
"A respective order was signed by the president during meeting with him [Kolomoisky]," the report said.
According to Poroshenko, Valentyn Reznichenko will be appointed acting head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.
Reznichenko was earlier appointed as head of Zaporizhia Regional State Administration on February 21, 2015. Since 1996, he had worked for Ukrainian Media Holding LLC. In August 2014, he became head of the Ukrainian State Centre of Radio Frequencies.
