Parliament passes law on state drug procurement via international organizations
The Ukrainian parliament has passed the law on state drug procurement via international organizations.
Draft law No. 2150 on amendments to Ukrainian laws on the provision of access of patients to drugs and medical products via state procurement with the attraction of specialized organizations was supported by the parliament on Thursday.
As reported, a package of draft laws, Nos. 2150 and 2151, was sent to the parliament to regulate the state drug procurement via international organizations.
Draft law No. 2151 foresees transactions on imports and supply of drugs and medical products bought via international organizations being exempt from tax.
State drug procurement is currently conducted through 18 programs in Ukraine.
