Grybauskaite expresses support for sanctions against Russia

The Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite has expressed support for the continuation and intensification of sanctions against Russia.

"I stand for the need to continue sanctions, since the situation in Ukraine and the Baltic countries is not getting better. As an example, I can name Kaliningrad, where the 'Iskander' missile systems are deployed, which can reach even Berlin," said Grybauskaite in Brussels before the EU leaders' summit.
