Budget of Council of Europe's Action Plan for Ukraine is EUR 45 mln – Klimkin
The budget of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine in 2015-2018 will amount to EUR 45 million, Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin has said.
Speaking at the presentation of the plan in Kyiv on Wednesday, Klimkin described the document as "the best milestone, the best logic for the next three years of reform in Ukraine."
According to him, the document envisages the "logic of the reforms" in Ukraine, supported by the Council of Europe. "So it is our common responsibility – not only to present the plan, but to report that it has been fulfilled and over-fulfilled," Klimkin said.
"Achieving these ambitious goals requires considerable resources. Therefore, taking this opportunity I'd like to thank all those who have worked on the content of this ambitious plan, which should become truly unprecedented – this is about EUR 45 million," he added.
