Poroshenko hopes PGO soon to ask parliament to lift some MPs' immunity
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said that in the shortest terms Public Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine would finish investigations into actions of some Ukrainian lawmakers and ask the parliament to life their immunity.
"I know facts which are being investigated by Public Prosecutor's Office today, and I'm waiting that soon Public Prosecutor's Office will ask the parliament to lift some lawmakers' immunity," the Ukrainian president said in an interview with the 1+1 TV channel broadcasted late on Friday.
Poroshenko did not disclose the names of the lawmakers.
