U.S. to provide financial aid to reform Interior Ministry, PGO – Ukrainian president
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said that the United States would help conducting reforms in the Ukrainian law-enforcement system.
"Now we've signed an agreement with the United States concerning the Interior Ministry – U.S. financial aid to create the patrol service… First Ukrainian Public Prosecutor's Office headed by the new public prosecutor received a proposal to have financial and consultations support of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)," Poroshenko said in an interview with the 1+1 TV channel late on Friday.
He said that the world believes that Ukraine has started introducing reforms and it provides its assistance.
