OSCE SMM verifies Ukrainian report on heavy weapons withdrawal
The OSCE SMM has said in a report compiled on March 11 that the heavy weapons withdrawn from the contact line in Donbas by the Ukrainian military are located in two storage sites in Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions, which corroborates the statements previously made by the Ukrainian military.
"The SMM visited for the second time the Ukrainian Armed Forces weapons storage site in Donetsk region, and observed in total 10 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS, 122-mm), five mortars (122-mm), four self-propelled howitzers (152-mm), four self-propelled howitzers (122-mm), six Uragan systems and 22 towed howitzers (152-mm)," reads the report posted on March 12.
The SMM inspected a similar site in Zaporizhia region. "In both cases, observers confirmed the presence of weapons and recorded them in the same place as earlier," reads the report.
