Spain proposes Ukraine consults Britain, EC on common EU airspace
Spain has proposed that Ukraine consult with Britain and the European Commission on the issue of signing an agreement on common aviation space with the EU.
According to the press service of Ukraine's Infrastructure Ministry, Spanish State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Ignacio Ybanez said this at a meeting with Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Andriy Pyvovarsky in Madrid on March 11.
"The unblocking of this issue would become a positive sign for Ukrainians about the European Community's readiness, in particular, Spain and Britain, to develop cooperation with Ukraine," Pyvovarsky said.
As reported, Ukraine and the EU plan to sign an agreement on common airspace.
