Northern Europe, Baltic parliament chairs to visit Ukraine on March 16-17
From March 16 until March 17, the chairmen of the parliaments of northern European and the Baltic States are expected to visit Ukraine, the Foreign Ministry has reported.
"A visit by chairmen of the parliaments of the countries of northern Europe and the Baltic are planning to visit Ukraine. A meeting with Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman is scheduled as part of the visit," Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.
According to him, the aim of their visit it to discuss the situation in Ukraine in light of the Russian aggression, as well as the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation, and aid from northern European and the Baltic States for Ukraine.
