Law on state health insurance will be adopted by late 2015 - Yatseniuk
The law on state health insurance will be adopted by the end of 2015, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"Our task is the reform of Soviet medicine, because one name is left from it - the old system was destroyed, the new one has not been built. I hope that we are with you, by the end of the year we will finally adopt the law on public health insurance in the parliament. We need to start this in the near future," he said during a report on the Ukraine's government work in its first 100 days, which was held in Kyiv.
Yatseniuk also said the government intends to offer a program to provide poor people with imported medicines through reimbursement by the end of the year, as well as to present a program to develop national pharmaceutical production.
