Ukraine wants to organize joint customs control on the border with the European Union, Ukrainian Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius has said.
"There is also a dialogue on how to organize joint customs control with the European Union, with which we have a joint border to avoid corruption in the industry," he said while speaking in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday.
Abromavicus said that Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk had held consultations on this issue with European partners.
The minister also said that the results of the official investigation into the actions of senior State Fiscal Service officials which was ordered by the Yatseniuk will be announced in a week.
