Former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, who represents Kyiv in the trilateral Contact Group for Ukraine, has not ruled out the group's possible meeting in the Belarusian capital Minsk soon.
"We do not rule out the possibility of such a meeting. This issue was discussed and such a meeting is in our plans. All participants in the talks agree that the time has come for a personal meeting of the trilateral Contact Group's members and representatives of certain districts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions in Minsk," Kuchma was quoted as saying by his press secretary Darya Olifer. Kuchma's remarks were posted on his Facebook page on Friday.
