European Parliament to help Rada create open decision-making process
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Hroisman and President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz have agreed on the main issues of bilateral cooperation at a meeting on Tuesday.
According to Hroisman, one of the priorities for the Verkhovna Rada in the near future will be creating an institution building program.
The program will be aimed at making government agencies more open, involving civil society in e-government and in many other aspects, Hroisman told an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent in Brussels.
Hroisman also said that the Verkhovna Rada and the European Parliament were currently discussing the format of their cooperation.
