No weapon removal with enemy still flouting truce - Ukrainian military
The Ukrainian forces have not started to remove their heavy weapons yet because the enemy is not observing the ceasefire, Vladyslav Selezniov, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff has said.
"A plan to remove heavy weapons was already agreed upon. Ukraine, Russia, and the so-called LPR and DPR (the self-proclaimed Luhansk and Donetsk republics) signed the plan. Clause one says that the removal will only begin after a ceasefire in the anti-terrorist operation zone," he told Interfax on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the enemy has been "firing large-caliber artillery in the Shyrokyne area," he said "How can we now talk about removal?" Selezniov said.
