Normandy Quartet foreign ministers meeting in Paris
The foreign ministers of the Normandy Quartet countries (Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine) are meeting in Paris to discuss the implementation of the peace deal for the south-east of Ukraine, secured at talks in the Belarusian capital Minsk on February 12.
Ahead of the consultations, the ministers: Russia's Sergei Lavrov, Germany's Frank-Walter Steinmeier, France's Laurent Fabius and Ukraine's Pavlo Klimkin exchanged handshakes.
It is their first meeting after the Normandy Quartet summit in Minsk earlier this month.
Before coming to Paris, Lavrov and Klimkin attended the UN Security Council's debates in New York.
