EU must focus on economic and political aid to Ukraine, show unity – Polish President
The EU must exhibit a united position to help settle the conflict in eastern Ukraine, Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski has said.
If the EU wants to efficiently influence events in Ukraine, it must remain united, he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Sunday.
According to Komorowski, this means that certain countries cannot maintain their current policy which threatens unity.
In addition, Komorowski said the EU should concentrate on economic and political aid to Ukraine.
EU power first of all lies in its economic might. Under crisis conditions, such as the Ukrainian-Russian war, everyone must use this, the best argument, Komorowski said.
