Poroshenko, EU leaders agree immediate response to ceasefire breaches
Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko has said he and the leaders of the European Union have agreed upon a prompt reaction in the event of further escalation of the situation in the east of the country.
"Together with the EU leaders we agreed, on the day, when I made the decision to remove our troops from Debaltseve, on an extremely fast reaction in the event of further violation of the Minsk agreements, concerning ceasefire and removal of heavy weapons," he told reporters before meeting with the European Commission for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement, Johannes Hahn.
The main topic of the conversation will be analysis of implementation of the Minsk agreements over ceasefire and removal of heavy weaponry, the president said.
