Five Ukrainian servicemen were killed and another 25 were wounded in the combat zone in eastern Ukraine over the past day, anti-terrorist operation spokesman Andriy Lysenko has said.

"We have lost five Ukrainian servicemen in the hostilities over the past day, and another 25 have been injured," Lysenko said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Monday.

Despite the ceasefire regime put into place last night, the militants has conducted 88 attacks on Ukrainian army positions by now, he added.
