Poroshenko, Obama to coordinate efforts if Ukraine conflict escalates - spokesman

The presidents of Ukraine and the United States, Petro Poroshenko and Barack Obama, have had a conversation in which they reached an agreement "on the further coordination of efforts in case of escalation [of the conflict in eastern Ukraine]," Poroshenko's spokesman, Sviatoslav Tseholko, said on Twitter on Saturday.
