Date for UN SC meeting on Ukraine not set yet - Ukraine foreign minister
Ukraine expects the UN Security Council to support the Minsk agreements to settle the situation in the east, but no date has been set yet for its meeting, said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.
"The date has not been finally agreed upon," Klimkin said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Sunday.
Klimkin also said that the UN Security Council keeps the situation in Ukraine under control, which is very important.
"UN assistance in de-escalating the situation is of crucial importance for us. The Minsk agreements must be observed in full. Therefore I expect to receive the UN Security Council's 'yes' to the Minsk agreements, 'yes' right now, 'yes' in its entirety," Klimkin said.
