Two persons killed, another six wounded after shell hit café in Luhansk region – governor
Hennadiy Moskal, governor of the Luhansk region, said that two people were reportedly killed and another six were injured when a shell fired by militants' forces hit a cafe in the town of Schastia on Friday morning.
Moskal's press service reported that the cafe was packed with customers at the time of the shelling.
"We know that two people were killed and another three sustained serious injuries. Three passers-by were injured as well. Servicemen are now sifting through the rubble, looking for more injured people," it said.
Several other shells exploded and set fire to garages and cars in one part of Schastia, according to Moskal.
The town's heating main, power lines and water supply system were damaged by the strikes, he said.
