Federalization not on agenda, Ukraine to remain unitary – Poroshenko spokesperson
The question of Ukrainian federalization was not discussed between Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande in Kyiv this Thursday, Poroshenko's Press Secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko said.
"During President Petro Poroshenko's talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande the question of federalization was not raised. Ukraine was, is and will be a unitary state," he told Interfax on Friday, without disclosing other details of the talks.
