Smerch, Tornado and Buratino multiple rocket launchers used against Ukrainian army – NSDC

National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov reported that powerful modern multiple rocket launchers are used against Ukrainian servicemen fighting on the east of Ukraine.

"Unfortunately, Russia uses against us modern artillery systems, including valley fire systems, the most powerful as well. These are not just Grad systems, these are Uragan, Smerch, Tornado, as well as the barbarian firing systems, such as Buratino," he said in an interview with Channel Five on Thursday evening.

He said that all this stuff is used against the Ukrainian servicemen, and they, for their part, today have rather improved countermeasure technologies.
