Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has reported that mobilization in the country is held under the schedule.
"Mobilization is held without deviation of the schedule. Since January 20, a number of 73,000 draft notices were handled, to that just for a week 2,500 patriots agreed to serve as volunteers," the president said during the he solemn flower-laying ceremony at the memorial sign to Kruty Heroes in Kyiv.
He said that 45,000 servicemen have already passed the medical examination and now they are being sent to the training centers of the Armed Forces. Afterwards they will be sent to the definite military units.
"Just after that they will be ready to replace the military men, who almost a year heroically fulfilled the tasks in the military operation zone," the head of state said.
