Kyiv: Militants lacks forces to launch full-scale offensive
Spokesman for the anti-terrorist operation in Donbas, Andriy Lysenko, has said that the Ukrainian armed forces have been successfully repelling attacks launched by the enemy who, he said, lack forces and means to launch a full-scale offensive.
"They lack strength to launch a full-scale offensive. The moment attacks begin our forces repel them. Hostile artillery systems and mortars are being destroyed as counter-battery operations continue," Lysenko said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
"Although a large contingent has arrived and is present in occupied Donbas to commit aggression, we have forces and, most important, the desire not only to stop them, but to dispose of them," Lysenko said.
