Group of Dutch experts to return to MH17 crash site in eastern Ukraine
A group of Dutch experts will return to the Malaysian Airlines MH17 crash site in eastern Ukraine to collect the remains of the victims, the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice reported on Friday.
A small group including employees of Dutch Defense Ministry will return to Kharkiv at the end of next week. If security conditions allow it, the team will return to the crash site to look for human remains, reads a statement from the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice.
As reported, the Malaysia Airlines MH17, en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed in eastern Ukraine on July 17, killing all 298 people on board. Most of the victims were Dutch and Malaysian nationals. The casualties also included citizens of Australia, Indonesia, Germany, Belgium, the Philippines, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and New Zealand.
