Kyiv refutes Ukrainian army losses in some Donbas towns, roadblocks
Ukrainian army operation spokesman Andriy Lysenko has refuted claims by self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) leader Alexander Zakharchenko about the army's loss of control over a number of populated localities and roadblocks.
"Piski [a town near Donetsk] remains under control of the Ukrainian army, and all the rest [remains under the army's control] too. Ukrainian servicemen are holding every position they occupied as of this morning but the 32nd roadblock," Lysenko said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Friday, saying that "the same was true about the Donetsk airport."
"Ukrainian servicemen are controlling a part [of the airport] and relevant structures," Lysenko said.
