Pass control system won't be cancelled in ATO area – NSDC secretary
Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has said that the pass control system in the anti-terrorist operation zone will be tightened to ensure the safety of Ukrainians.
"The regime will not be canceled, it will be stepped up, and the argument for this is very serious: it is the hundreds of peaces of weaponry and explosives, which are exposed during these inspections at the checkpoints. Seven transport corridors will operate, they will be shut down when hostilities increase in a particular section of the contact line," he said during a conference call with the heads of regional state administrations chaired by the prime minister on Friday.
