Ukrainian diplomat begs Russia to stop terrorists from killing civilians
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said that the bombardment of a bus stop in Donetsk that killed civilians was everyone's tragedy.
"The Donetsk bus stop tragedy is everyone's heartbreak. Such terror attacks kill Ukrainian civilians. Russia must stop terrorists," Klimkin tweeted.
Thirteen people were killed and over 20 suffered injuries in the attack on a Donetsk bus stop in the morning of January 22. Eyewitnesses said the bus stop in the Donetsk Bosse neighborhood was shelled by mortars.
The Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office opened a criminal inquiry into the Donetsk bus stop bombardment and killing of civilians on the counts of terror attack. The prosecutors blamed the militants for the incident.
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry pointed the finger at the militants.
