Government suggests procedure for recognizing terrorist organizations by NSDC decision be approved by president - Yatseniuk
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has suggested giving the National Security and Defense Council the right to recognize certain organizations as terrorists, and endorsed the lists of such organizations by presidential decree, based on a special judicial procedure.
"The government suggests giving the National Security and Defense Council, whose decisions are endorsed by presidential decrees, [the powers] to determine terrorist organizations and to draw up a list of such organizations, which will then be endorsed by a presidential decree," Yatseniuk said while opening a government meeting on Wednesday.
The prime minister said the government proposed a special judicial procedure for recognizing certain organizations as terrorists.
