Ukraine receives fourth batch of Australian humanitarian aid – Defense Ministry
Ukraine has received a fourth batch of Australian humanitarian aid for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which consists of winter clothing including balaclavas, scarfs and footwear, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s press service has reported.
"According to the Main Directorate on Military Cooperation and Peacekeeping Operations of the General Command of Ukrainian Armed Forces, through December 25-29, 2014, three humanitarian cargos with winter outfits were received from Australia," reads the statement.
The total worth of the humanitarian aid is over AUD 2.67 million.
According to the statement, the aid was sent to the central material base of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
