Ukrainian side reports shelling of Avdiyivka near Donetsk

A woman was injured as Donbas militia forces conducted artillery strikes against the village of Avdiyivka in the Donetsk region, Vyacheslav Abroskin, head of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's branch for the Donetsk region, said on his Facebook account on Tuesday.

"Terrorists launched artillery strikes against Avdiyivka. Apartment buildings in Molodizhna Street were hit. A woman was admitted to hospital with injuries," Abroskin said.

Investigators from the Avdiyivka police department are working at the scene of the artillery strike.
