Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a law approving the presidential decree on partial mobilization.
The law, which was adopted last week, has been returned to the parliament with the president's signature, the Verkhovna Rada said in a report posted on its website on Monday.
According to earlier reports, the Verkhovna Rada has approved a decree issued by President Petro Poroshenko on three stages of mobilization in 2015. The first stage of the mobilization is to begin on January 20 and will last ninety days.
The law takes effect on the day of its publication.
