Militants conduct around 100 attacks on Ukrainian positions in past 24 hours – ATO press center
Militants have shelled Ukrainian army positions and Donbas populated areas 35 times since 1800 on Sunday and the total number of attacks on Ukrainian army positions stood at 99 over the past day, the anti-terrorist operation press center said on Monday.
"Mortars, grenade launchers and artillery bombarded Makarove, Sokolnyky, Krasnohorivka, Tonenke, Troitske, Popasna, Chermalyk and Talakivka. Krymske came under fire three times. Grad rocket launchers shelled Donetsky, Schastia, Triokhizbenka, Stanytsia Luhanska, Nyzhnie, Tonenke and Talakivka. Rocket launchers hit Pisky and Kirovske twice," the press center wrote on Facebook.
The largest number of shelling incidents, eight, happened near Hnutove.
Hostilities are in progress on the Donetsk airport premises, the press center said.
