Ukrspyrt director general, chief accountant put on wanted list, says fiscal service

Ukrspyrt Director General Mykhailo Labutin and Chief Accountant Serhiy Bezrodny have been put on the wanted list.

"Due to the committing of gross crimes linked to avoiding tax payments and the embezzlement of state funds by officials of state enterprise Ukrspyrt, in December 2014 Ukrspyrt Director General Mykhailo Labutin and Chief Accountant Serhiy Bezrodny were put on the wanted list," reads the State Fiscal Service report.

The service has asked that the tax police be informed if the whereabouts of the fugitives is established.

As reported, on December 19, 2014, soldiers from Aidar battalion took Labutin from the hospital where he was treated and drove to an unknown location under the pretext of protecting him from an attempt on his life.

The State Fiscal Service said that police have launched an investigation into the kidnapping of Labutin.
