No Contact Group meeting without Zakharchenko, Plotnytsky - Kuchma
The Contact Group on Ukraine will not meet unless Oleksandr Zakharchenko and Ihor Plotnytsky, who signed the Minsk accords in September 2014, attend the meeting as well, Ukraine's second president Leonid Kuchma told Interfax on Thursday.
"The talks are only possible with participation of Zakharchenko and Plotnytsky, who signed the protocol and memorandum in Minsk in September," he said.
The Contact Group did send an invitation to the Friday meeting in Minsk, but "only to the Zakharchenko and Plotnytsky," he said. "We have already met with their other representatives (Denys Pushylin and Vladislav Deinego) three times, but they are not authorized to make any decisions," Kuchma said.
